Ishmaaiyl Mulheron, D.C. man charged with beating dog to death, due in court

The man accused of beating a dog to death in Northeast is expected to be in court Thursday for a preliminary hearing.
Ishmaaiyl Mulheron faces animal cruelty charges after he allegedly beat his roommate’s Yorkshire Terrier to death in February.
If convicted, he could face up to five years in jail and a $25,000 fine.
