Daybreak Daily’s afternoon 3-point attempt at the pop-culture buzzer finds net changes for two most unique singers, a house for sale, other things, and the mystery music video.
MAKEUP BE DAMNED: Katy Perry follows a familiar trend in new doc, per Us Weekly, “In her upcoming 3D documentary, ‘Part of Me’, Hollywood's resident hair color chameleon reveals her makeup-free face, which is a stark contrast to her signature loaded-up eyelashes, bold eyeliner and bright lip color. During the scene, she appears to be getting decked out in one of the confectionary costumes from her California Dreams tour.” http://bit.ly/Mbu6fK
MEANWHILE: Check out these pictures of No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani you probably never before have seen, per BuzzFeed, “This is the absolute right way to join Twitter. Hopefully she'll continue the trend and post more!” http://bit.ly/N0wSDW
NO HARD FEELINGS: Or something like that, per Radar, “Hugh Hefner has let his ex-fiancee Crystal Harris move back into the Playboy Mansion, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned! After being unceremoniously dumped just a week before his wedding by Crystal, who snuck out of the Playboy Mansion and fled into the arms of another man, Hef has forgiven her and welcomed her home with open arms.” http://bit.ly/LMYmeE
BEATLES REDUX: At least that’s how the narrative goes these days, per TMZ, “Oslo's mayor has launched an investigation into yesterday's near-catastrophic Justin Bieber concert in Norway -- after 49 teenage girls were injured in the fandemonium ... and 14 were taken by ambulance for emergency care. No one was seriously injured.” http://bit.ly/JZnf26
HUH?: Um, just read this, per The Hollywood Reporter, “The Friars Club will present its Entertainment Icon Award to Tom Cruise at its annual Friars Foundation next month. . . The organization said it has given out the award only three times in its 108-year history. Previous recipients are Douglas Fairbanks, Cary Grant and Frank Sinatra.” http://bit.ly/KMTnJ9
FOR SALE: House has a lot of history, per the AP, “The family of Amy Winehouse has put the late singer's London home up for sale for 2.7 million pounds ($4.2 million). The three-bedroom property in the Camden neighborhood of northwest London had become a shrine of sorts for mourning fans who left flowers and tributes following Winehouse's death last July from alcohol poisoning.” http://apne.ws/LizWqt
TRAIN-WRECK ALERT: Stay away from comedy, guys, per The Wrap, “Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro are in negotiations to star in “Grudge Match” for Warner Bros., according to an individual with knowledge of the situation. The comedy is about two retired boxers who return to the ring for a final grudge match. While not yet green-lit, the movie is a "go" project at the studio expected to film early next year.” http://bit.ly/KM3Tka
DEVILISH SEQUEL: Prada, yadda, yadda, per Entertainment Weekly, “(The publication) has learned exclusively that author Lauren Weisberger is working on ‘Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns’, a sequel to her debut novel ‘The Devil Wears Prada’. Simon & Schuster will be publishing the follow-up in April 2013 — 10 years after the release of the original.” http://bit.ly/JwrrXy
PREPARE TO SQUIRM: Maybe it just seem creepy but really isn’t, per the New York Post, “Nicolas Sarkozy’s brother Olivier Sarkozy has moved on from Stella Schnabel and is now dating Mary-Kate Olsen. Sources say the former French president’s 42-year-old younger half-brother, who’s managing director of the Carlyle Group, has been seeing 25-year-old Olsen for about a month, and they’re “head over heels” for one another.” http://nyp.st/KfzKNo
REALLY LONG SENTENCE: No, really, per indieWIRE, “After “Monsters University,” next summer’s wholly unnecessary prequel to “Monsters, Inc.” (which imagines our monstrous heroes scaring their way through college), Pixar will embark on a cluster of highly original films that bring to mind the combination of adventurous storytelling and outrageous concepts that gave us, in sequential years, “Ratatouille,” “WALL-E” and “Up,” with these new films tackling everything from imagined earths, the sparks of imagination, and the Mexican holiday of Dia De Los Muertos.” http://bit.ly/LNxhbc
LOVIN’ LINDSAY: Smile for the camera, per X17, “Lindsay Lohan is ready for love again -- with photographer Gavin Doyle. We spotted the two leaving the Chateau Marmont Wednesday afternoon, both with cigarettes in hand and Lindsay with her hair in a Liz Taylor-style head scarf.” http://bit.ly/KfJ4AM
AND FINALLY: Today’s mystery music video. http://bit.ly/KXtvLw
