Memorial Day road closures for D.C.

Memorial Day activities are already in fully swing!

The National Memorial Day Parade will take place from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm Monday.

The streets along the following route will be closed from 5:00 am until 7:00 pm:

• Starting from 7th Street & Madison Drive, ending at 17th Street & Constitution Avenue, NW
• Also closed: 7th Street from Constitution Avenue to Independence Avenue, NW

Drivers taking the roads near any of these events may encounter traffic delays and heavy pedestrian traffic due to the extended road closures.

Additional road closures starting at six in the morning Monday:

-Parkway Drive from Rock Creek Parkway to lMC Circle
-Memorial Bridge (westbound only)
-Constitution Ave. at 23rd to 15th street
-The ramp of Ohio Drive northbound to the Memorial Bridge
