Mother's Day 2012: A reason to cheat on your spouse?
More married women are joining cheating websites the day after Mother’s Day than any other day of the year, a report says.
Natasha Burton writes in a Huffington Post article that Noel Biderman, founder of Ashleymadison.com, a website for individuals who want to cheat on their spouses, says the spike in the site’s registration is a reaction from some women who feel slighted by their husbands on the holiday.
The founder of the company whose slogan is "Life is short, have an affair" says the findings might reflect a bigger marital issue.
“While Mother's Day might not have the romance factor of Valentine's Day or a wedding anniversary, Biderman said he thinks the holiday compels women to reflect on how their husbands treat them as mothers and analyze whether their efforts are appreciated,” Biderman told the Huffington Post.
