Obrian James accused in Fort Washington sexual assault
Police say the suspect in a Fort Washington rape was arrested Wednesday as he got off a flight from Jamaica at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
The Prince George's Police Department obtained arrest warrants for Obrian James on November 8, 2011 for an October 2011 crime. James is accused of pulling the female victim into a room at his Beverly Court home, locking the door and sexually assaulting her.
Investigators say soon after they received information that James had fled the country.
On May 2, the Prince George's County Office of the Sheriff's Warrant Squad, with the assistance of airport authority police, arrested James as he got off a flight returning from Jamaica.
James is charged with second degree rape, second degree assault and false imprisonment.
