Pedestrian struck in Northeast

D.C. police say a man was struck by a truck on North Capitol Street in Northeast Friday morning.
Police say the accident happened in the 700 unit block around 9:13 a.m.
There’s no word on the victim’s condition at this time.
Police have shut down North Capitol Street between H and G streets.
A crash reconstruction team is at the scene.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
