Police intercept package containing controlled substances
Officers in St. Mary's County were able to intercept a delivery of controlled substances before they could reach their destination.
Members of the Narcotic Unit received information that the package was on the way to a hotel in the area.
K-9 deputies stopped and searched the package finding syringes, vials of testosterone and other paraphernalia.
Captain Daniel D. Alioto says 31-year-old John Wesley Nye, of Kent, Washington, was arrested.
Also arrested was 22-year-old John Edward Colleary, IV., of California, Maryland. Alioto called Colleary " a distributor of controlled substances," adding undercover officers made several purchases of marijuana and ecstasy.
