PARIS (AP/ABC7) - In a stunning upset, Serena Williams lost in first round of French Open on Tuesday.
The three-set loss to Virginie Razzano in the first round marked the earliest exit from a Grand Slam in her career.
Many tennis observers pegged Williams, who has won 13 major championships in her career, as the favorite going into this year's French Open.
It was the first time Williams had lost in the first round of a Grand Slam event.
