MARYLAND
Solomons Island among 'Happiest Seaside Towns'
May 14, 2012 - 03:17 pm
Need a jolt of happiness? Try heading out to Solomons Island, says Coastal Living magazine.
In its ranking of the top 15 places to live by the either coast, Solomons Island, nestled in the Chesapeake Bay where it joins the Patuxent River, the Maryland destination ranks #15.
It has a long way to go to reach places like Kiawah Island, S.C., Naples, Fla. and Sausalito, Calif., but when it comes to proximity, Solomons has everything beat on this list.
