Southeast double stabbing investigated
May 3, 2012 - 05:26 am
Investigators are trying to find the person who allegedly stabbed two people in Southeast late Wednesday night.
Police say a man and a woman were stabbed Wednesday night in the 2700 block of 27th Street SE. An MPD spokesman says that at about 11:10 p.m., a man got into an argument with the friend of someone who contacted police.
When that person tried to intervene, the suspect allegedly stabbed both the person involved in the argument and the friend who contacted authorities.
Both victims were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. Police say they're classifying the incident as an assault with intent to kill.
