WASHINGTON (AP) - Most juveniles in Washington who have an outstanding warrant against them can surrender without incurring additional penalties as part of a program being offered by District of Columbia officials.

The "Operation Safe Return" program continues for the second of two days Saturday at the Balanced & Restorative Justice Drop-In Center in northeast Washington.

The program applies to about 120 juveniles who failed to appear at scheduled court hearings or report to their probation officers and therefore have warrants out for their arrest.
