Tutt had been traveling southbound on 210 but crossed the median and hit the other two vehicles, both of which were traveling northbound on 210. It happened at 3:21 p.m.

Jan-nae Alicia Woodard, 7, who was in the Nissan, was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Nissan, Marquetta Rochelle McGee, 36, of Waldorf was flown to a shock trauma center with life-threatening injuries.

Tutt was also was flown to a shock trauma center. He has non-life-threatening injuries.

An unnamed woman passenger in the Trailblazer was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
