7-year-old nearly drowns in Montgomery County pool

A young girl has been hospitalized after officials say she nearly drowned in a pool at a community center in Montgomery County.
Montgomery County Fire officials say that the 7-year-old girl was taken from the River Falls Community Center pool after nearly drowning. The outdoor pool is in the 7900 block of Horseshoe Lane in Potomac.
According to Montgomery County Fire spokesman Scott Graham medics described the girl's condition as "improved".
