Antwan Petty identified as Southeast shooting victim
D.C. police say a 19-year-old man died after being shot in the head in Southeast Saturday night.
Officers were called to the 1200 block of Trenton Place just after 9 p.m. When they arrived, they found Antwan Lamont Petty suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
This is the second homicide on that same block in just under two months. Back in April, Sirrocco Delonte Johnson was found shot in the head and pronounced dead at the hospital.
If you have any information that can help police, call (202) 727-9099. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction of anyone wanted for a homicide committed in the district.
