Beat the Deadline 5K race in D.C.

Hundred are expected to participate in the National Press Club's Beat the Deadline 5K race this weekend to raise funds for deserving student to pursue journalism careers.
ABC7’s Cynne Simpson and P90X creator Tony Horton will host the event, which kicks off at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 9th.
Horton, who has trained celebrities such as Bruce Springsteen, Usher and Tom Petty, will lead a workout session on race day. He stopped by ABC7's Good Morning Washington Friday to share some pre-race tips.
