WATCH: ABC7’s Autria Godfrey has more.
Two SUVs collided on a street in Riverdale, sending one off the road where it hit four kids playing in a portable swimming pool.
Prince George's County Police say the driver of a Toyota 4-Runner attempted to pass the driver of a Ford Escape in the 5200 block of 57th Avenue at about 3:30 p.m. Friday. The 4-Runner hit the Ford and veered off the road into a yard where it hit the kids and came to rest against a house.
The four children were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police say.
The driver of the 4-Runner and a juvenile passenger and the driver of the Ford Escape were also taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
