D.C. 2013 budget heads to final vote
June 4, 2012 - 05:35 am
The D.C. Council is expected to give final approval to the city’s 2013 budget Tuesday.
The $9 billion plan calls for an extension of bar hours, an expansion of the city’s traffic camera program, and an increase in performance parking.
The Examiner reports those changes and proposed cuts would fill a projected $172 million budget shortfall.
