D.C. gas prices drop
The average for last week for D.C. was around $3.48 per gallon, compared with the national average that has fallen 7.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.45 per gallon, according to gasoline price website WashingtonDCGasPrices.com.
"The national average has now dropped to its lowest level since February 4," said GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan.
GasBuddy operates WashingtonDCGasPrices.com and over 250 similar websites that track gasoline prices at over 140,000 gasoline stations in the United States and Canada.

The drop in gas prices nationwide correspond with a sharp decrease in the price of crude oil. That has dropped by about $30 per barrel over the past three months, from over $108 to about $78 late last week.
