Frederick County, Virginia home barricaded with man inside

There is a barricade situation unfolding in Frederick County, Virginia.

Frederick County Sheriff’s Office officials say they responded to an incident at a residence on the 100 block of Wilkins Drive. The Sheriff’s Office is in negotiations with a subject threatening to harm himself and others, they said.

Local TV reports say the man is the only one in the home.

The area around the residence has been evacuated and the residents have been taken to Greenwood Fire hall, the Sheriff’s Office said.
