Girl stabs boy in Annapolis

A young boy is hospitalized after being stabbed by a 12-year-old girl in Annapolis.

Police say the 13-year-old child was stabbed with a kitchen knife in the unit block of Pleasant Street about 11 p.m. Thursday. He was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where he received three stiches.

The girl was charged with assault and released to her guardian, police say.
