Jonathan Fullard charged with killing toddler Keyontae Osbia Moore
A 29-year-old D.C. man has been indicted on charges of killing his former girlfriend’s toddler son.
A D.C. Superior Court grand jury indicted on Thursday Jonathan Fullard on charges of felony murder, first degree cruelty to children and obstruction of justice. He is scheduled to be arraigned on July 13.
Authorities said he was babysitting his girlfriend’s son 20-month-old son Keyontae Osbia Moore at a residence in the 300 block of 30th Street SE while the mother was at work on May 4.
In the afternoon, Fullard called the boy’s mother to say he had stopped breathing. Keyontae was taken to a hospital, where doctors found head and body trauma, authorities say. The death was ruled a homicide.
