WASHINGTON (AP) - A District of Columbia man already serving a 60-year prison sentence has been given an additional 45-year term for a separate murder.

Kwan Kearney was sentenced in D.C. Superior Court on Friday for the November 2010 murder of Jamal Wilson. The two had been friends but had a disagreement the night of the murder.

Kearney is already serving a 60-year sentence for the murder of Joseph Sharps, Jr., which occurred six days before Wilson was fatally shot.

The judge Friday imposed the two sentences to run consecutively.
