Mother arrested for choking daughter's bully
A mother was arrested for choking a boy that was bullying her teenage daughter on Facebook.
Debbie Piscitella, 46, of Florida, said she “lost it” when she saw the boy—a classmate of her daughter, McKenna, 13—at the mall. The boy is the one alleged to be bullying McKenna online.
Piscitella said that she and her husband had repeatedly tried to report the bullying, with no real consequence. When she and her daughter were shopping at a St. Petersburg mall last week, they saw the alleged bully and Piscitella confronted him.
“I lost my temper,” she told ABC News.
“I wish it would have been another route I had taken. I don’t go around doing that to children. I don’t want to sound like I’m a huge monster,” she said.
Piscitella is facing a child abuse charge.
