Quentin Blanchard arrested, charged with malicious wounding, reckless driving
A fight over parking sport at Potomac Mills led to a man being held without bond on accusations that he nearly hit someone with his car, then assaulted him.
Prince William County Police officials say the incident happened at about 3 p.m. on June 2 at the outlet mall in Woodbridge. Police say that the suspect, 53-year-old Quentin Wendel Blanchard of Dumfries, drove his car into a parking space that a 24-year-old Quantico man was trying to save.
The car nearly struck the victim, police say. After he parked, Blanchard allegedly got out of his car and assaulted the man. The victim was not injured.
Blanchard left the scene, but was later arrested at his Dumfries home. He faces charges of malicious wounding, assault and battery and reckless driving.
