Rabid skunk bites woman in Saint Mary's County

A warning for residents in Saint Mary's County, Maryland: a rabid skunk bit a woman last week.
Health officials confirmed that the skunk, which tested positive for rabies, got into the Cheeseburger-In-Paradise restaurant in California, Maryland and bit the woman.
Animal Control officers shot and killed the skunk.
The County’s health department says this is the sixth wild animal to test positive for rabies this year.
