Red Line service delayed because of suspicious package

Service on the Red Line has been restored between the Fort Totten and Rhode Island Avenue stations after being temporarily stopped because of a suspicious package.
MPD reports that the suspicious package is in the 4500 block of Fort Totten Drive NE.
Shuttle bus service ran up between the Rhode Island Avenue, Brookland and Fort Totten stations during the disruption.
