Route 50 accident injures 5
Police in Anne Arundel County say three people were ejected from a vehicle when it crashed in Davidsonville.
Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle accident on Route 50 near exit 424 just before 3:15 a.m.
Police are investigating what led up to the crash, but confirm three occupants were ejected.
Two of the victims, a 21-year-old woman and 19-year-old man, were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The woman was taken to Baltimore Shock Trauma, police say, while the male was transported to Prince George's Trauma.
Three others, all under the age of 21, suffered minor injuries. Police did not say which occupants were eject, although they say there are reports that others may have been ejected.
Alcohol may have been involved.
