Suspects sought in Brooklyn Park robbery
Police are looking for three suspects who stole a bike from a nine-year-old boy in Brooklyn Park in Anne Arundel County.
The child told police that he and a friend were riding their bikes in the area when they were approached by the three suspects, who then pushed them off their bikes, assaulted them and stole one of their bikes. The suspects fled on foot and on the boy's bicycle towards Baltimore City.
The suspects are described as teen-aged black males. One of them has a thin build, between 5’3” and 5’6” tall, with black hair and brown eyes. A second suspect, with a medium build, is about 5’6” tall, and the third, police say, has a thick build, between 5’6” and 5’9” tall, also with black hair and brown eyes.
The incident happened in the 200 block of 11th Avenue East about 2:24 p.m. on June 7.
The victims were not injured, police say.
