June 12, 2012 - 03:04 pm
MPD detectives and the owner of a Northwest D.C. convenience store are on the hunt for two suspects who were caught on camera stealing large bottles of champagne.
Police say the theft happened at the Mac Market at 5185 MacArthur Blvd. NW at about 1 p.m. on June 8. In the video, two men are seen taking multiple champagne bottles out of a refrigerator case.
The suspects then place several bottles inside their clothes and walk out of the store in broad daylight in the middle of D.C.'s Palisades neighborhood.
The store's owner and police are seeking any information about the theft.
