Vida Fitness club installs cameras and flour to catch alleged thief
June 12, 2012 - 06:03 pm
An alleged wallet thief got more than he bargained for at a local health club. The club’s management caught him in a clever trap and got it all on tape.
A manager at the Vida Fitness club in NW says they had a problem with someone stealing wallets. So in addition to setting up cameras, they put flour in one of the lockers. You can guess what happened next.
A man, later identified as Michael Reed, can be seen opening a locker. But when he opens the door, he gets doused in flour and flees.
The club made a copy of his ID and notified police.
