WASHINGTON (AP) - Metro says a young woman was stabbed on a bus in Southeast Washington.
It happened shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of 6th and Chesapeake streets, Southeast.
Metro spokeswoman Caroline Lukas says two women around 18 years of age got into a fight while riding an A8 bus.
One stabbed the other several times in the midsection. The victim was flown to a hospital.
Lukas says police later learned that the injuries were not life-threatening. Police are searching for the attacker.
