A push for marrow donations on Capitol Hill
July 18, 2012 - 07:20 am
Good Morning America's Robin Roberts' battle with a rare blood disorder has sparked an increase in bone marrow donations across the world, and an even stronger push to get others to join the national “Be The Match Registry.”
People impacted by marrow donations will be on Capitol Hill Wednesday to share their stories, in hopes of inspiring others to swab their cheeks and possibly save lives.
Nadya Dutchin, from the Be The Match Registry, appeared on ABC7’s Good Morning Washington to share more about the need for marrow donors.
