Anthony Campbell arrested for 2011 Northeast homicide
A second arrest has been made in the 2011 murder of a Maryland man found inside a burning car, D.C. police say.
On July 13, 34-year-old Anthony Campbell of Northeast was arrested and charged with first degree murder in connection with the death of Antwain Henderson.
On Aug. 31, 2012, police arrested 29-year-old Phillip Glover in connection with the case. He was arrested on an arrest warrant for conspiracy to obstruct justice.
Nearly a year ago, fire crews in Prince George's County were called to a vehicle fire in the 800 block of Balsamtree Place in Capitol Heights, MD. Henderson's body was found inside the car.
Investigators determined Henderson,34, was shot in the 5800 block of Field Place, NE. The case was then handed over to D.C. police.
