Body pulled from water near Joint Base Anacostia
July 6, 2012 - 11:14 am
The body of a man was pulled from the water near Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling early Friday morning, authorities say.
Officials say that units from the U.S. Park Police, MPD Harbor Patrol, the U.S. Coast Guard and D.C. Fire all responded to an area off the 4400 block of Langley Way SW just on reports of a man's body in the water.
MPD spokesperson Ofc. Araz Alali say that there is no foul play suspected as of yet, but the man's death remains under investigation.
