D.C. forecast: Storms heading into D.C. area Thursday
July 19, 2012 - 06:36 pm
We might be in for another wild ride tonight.
The National Weather Service reports another round of storms is due into the D.C. area. The storms are expected to enter the area between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
The NWS has not issued any warnings or alerts. On Wednesday, the NWS issued severe thunderstorm warnings and flash flood warnings.
The storms may not be as powerful as Wednesday night’s storm, which felled trees and flooded some areas. Even some hail was sighted.
