D.C. police investigate deadly shootings, stabbings
Police in D.C. are investigating two separate shootings that left men dead.
Investigators say two men were shot in the 2300 block of Green Street Sunday morning around 12:30.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The second was taken to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
About an hour earlier in Northwest, police were called to a shooting in the 1700 block of 7th Street. Police say the male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are also investigating a fatal stabbing in the 5300 block of Ames Street. Both victims were stabbed around 5:45 p.m., One of the victims died from their injuries.
Suspect information for the three cases was not available.
