D.C. police seek suspect in 18th Street, SE sexual assault
D.C. police have released a photograph of the suspect in a sexual assault, and they hope you can help them identify him.
The victim told police an armed man approached her and demanded money as she walked in the 1900 block of 18th Street, SE at 4:50 a.m. on July 12.
The woman gave him the money and was then sexually assaulted.
Police say the suspect then took the woman to an ATM, forcing her to withdraw money.
He was last seen walking east in the 1300 block of Good Hope Road, Southeast, police add.
According to investigators, the suspect is 6'2" black man with a medium complexion and dreadlocks. He is between 25 and 30-years-old and has a slim build.
