July 13, 2012 - 01:20 pm
A 57-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in Brandywine that Prince George's County Police say was a domestic dispute over a spare tire.
Authorities say that Francis Washington Jr. has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of his cousin, Thomas Washington, on July 12.
Police say that just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday, officers found Thomas suffering from a gunshot wound in the 11100 block of Cross Road Trail in Brandywine. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Francis was arrested at the scene as well.
The suspect is being held without bond.
