Free cab rides offered on Fourth of July
July 2, 2012 - 11:33 am
A local nonprofit organization is offering free cab rides to Fourth of July revelers in the Washington area to help curb drunken driving.
The Washington Regional Alcohol Program says its SoberRide service will be available to residents in the Greater Washington region.
The rides will be offered from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 4 a.m. Thursday. Residents can call 1-800-200-TAXI for a free ride up to a $30 fare.
