Free Slurpee Day: 7-Eleven offers 7.11-ounce Slurpees on 7/11
The date on the calendar reads July 11, and for big fans of frozen treats, it may as well be Christmas.
To celebrate 7/11, the 7-Eleven convenience store chain is once again giving out free Slurpees to celebrate.
You can go to any participating 7-Eleven store in the United States on Wednesday and grab a free 7.11-ounce Slurpee in any flavor between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. The tradition started in 2002, when the chain celebrated its 75th anniversary.
The company says they plan to give away - you guessed it - at least 7 million free Slurpees on Wednesday.
7-Eleven has grown into a convenience store behemoth with nearly 47,000 stores around the world, including 9,300 in the United States
You can find your closest 7-Eleven store by clicking here. Just remember to avoid drinking your frozen treat too fast. You don't want to come down with a bad case of sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia - or as we more commonly refer to it as, brain freeze.
