Google Talk down: Worldwide message service malfunctions worldwide

Google Talk, the worldwide voice and messaging system that millions of people use to communicate daily, is down worldwide, multiple reports say.
TechCrunch reports that the service outage was reported just before 7 a.m. Thursday.
According to Google's app status dashboard, users have been able to log in and access Google Talk, but calls and messages fail to be delivered to recipients.
Google says it expects to give an update on the outage by 10 a.m.
