Intentional hit-and-run suspect sought
A man is being sought by police after they say he ran down and hit a 19-year-old man with a car early Saturday morning in Manassas.
Prince William County Police say that the incident happened just before 3 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Spriggs and Hoadly roads after the victim, an acquaintance and the suspect got into a fight.
During the course of the fight, police say the suspect got into his car and drove it toward the victim, who tried to run away. The car struck the man, leaving him with non-life threatening injuries, while the suspect fled in a silver, 4-door car.
The other person was not injured.
Police do not believe that this was a random incident and are actively searching for the suspect. He is described as a white man between 18 and 25 years old, standing 5-foot-5 with a thin build and short black hair.
