Jashua Johnson arrested, accused in Southeast homicide

D.C. police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a July 8 homicide and shooting.
Just after midnight, officers found 22-year-old Davon Brown unconscious and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 1700 block of Galen Street, SE. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers found a second shooting victim in in the 2300 block of Green Street, SE. The victim also had multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Police say they arrested 19-year-old Jashua Johnson of Southeast on July 11.
He is charged with murder two while armed.
