Bradford McCoy killed in Prince George's County attempted robbery
Prince George's County police are looking for the suspects in a robbery attempt that left one man dead.
The victims were approached by three masked suspects around 12:19 a.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Oates Street
Police say 30-year-old Bradford Ansor McCoy saw an acquaintance on the corner and parked his Comcast contract vehicle to speak to them. While the were talked three armed men approached the group.
The gunmen ordered McCoy and the other victims outside of the car to lie down on the ground. But, police say, a woman still inside the car attempted to drive off when the suspects told her to hand over the keys, running over McCoy who was on the ground in front of the vehicle.
Police say McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspects left the area in McCoy's Comcast vehicle.
The police investigation is ongoing.
