Arlington County police are investigating a murder-suicide at a Fairlington apartment complex.

Officers were called to the Park Shirlington Apartments, located in the 4500 block of 31 Street S, just before 3 p.m. Tuesday. Police say a relative came home and found the body of a 30-year-old woman.

A male body was later found inside the apartment by medics.

The deceased couple was identified as Xiomara Aracely Benitez, 30, the victim, and Juan Carlos Mox Mox, the subject. They were married.

A neighbor told ABC7 the couple had two, small children together. The woman's sister and her child also live in the apartment.

This is the first homicide in Arlington since March 2010.
