Maryland Public Service Commission to hold hearings about power outage response
Maryland residents outraged by Pepco's response following the June 29 derecho will have a chance to voice their opinions.
The Maryland Public Service Commission will hold a series of public hearings to address the power outages that left thousands without electricity for a week.
Two meetings will be held for Pepco customers. The first will be held August 7 in the third floor hearing room at the Montgomery County Office Building in Rockville. The hearing will begin at 7 p.m. The second meeting will be held the next day in Largo at the Rennie Forum at Prince George's Community College, located at 301 Largo Road. That hearing will also begin at 7 p.m.
Public hearings will be held August 13-16 for Baltimore Gas and Electric.
