Meth lab discovered in Culpeper garage, police say
July 10, 2012 - 09:02 pm
Culpeper County police say officers found a meth lab in a garage while responding to a domestic call.
Officers were called to the home in the 1100 block of Meander Drive Tuesday.
Upon discovery of the meth lab, authorities evacuated the home, as well as neighboring residences. The DEA and other agencies were also called to the scene.
Two children living in the home are now in the custody of Culpeper Child Protective Services.
Two adults, a man and a woman, were charged with domestic assault.
Police say the male suspect reportedly resisted arrest, injuring the hand of an officer.
The home has been declared uninhabitable.
The investigation is ongoing.
