Minnie Beatrice Gillespie: Police ask for help in finding missing person
Update 7 p.m.: D.C. police tell ABC7's Jay Korff that Minnie Beatrice Gillespie, 83, has been found and is receiving medical attention.
D.C. police are searching for Minnie Beatrice Gillespie, 83, who has gone missing and is in need of medical attention.
MPD issued the following information:
The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a critical missing person identified as 83 year-old Minnie Beatrice Gillespie. She was last seen on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 11:30 pm in the 900 block of Farragut Street, NW.
Ms. Gillespie is described as a black female, 5’4” in height, weighing 130 pounds, dark complexion, brown eyes, with gray hair. She was last seen wearing navy blue hooded jacket and a black baseball cap. She was also carrying a black purse with a brown handle. She is in need of medical attention.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Minnie Beatrice Gillespie is asked to call the Metropolitan Police Department at 202-727-9099, the Youth Investigations Division at 202-576-6768 or 911.
