ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) - Montgomery County is expected to pay a total of $12.3 million for more than two dozen new Ride On buses.

The Washington Post (http://tinyurl.com/d56fj8f) reports the 28 buses will replace 62 buses that were bought five years ago.

The county pulled the buses off the roads earlier this month after a seventh bus caught in downtown Silver Spring.

The new buses from Gillig of Hayward, Calif., won't be delivered until early next year.
