MPD investigators say that the assault took place at about 9 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Fort Lincoln Drive and 33rd Place NE, near the Maryland/D.C. line. The victim told police that she was walking in the area when an armed man forced her into a nearby grassy area and sexually assaulted her.

At the time of the assault, police say the suspect was wearing a dark blue T-shirt with cut off sleeves, blue jean shorts.
